About me

I am a psychologist, leadership developer and screenwriter. Knowledge and interest in human behaviour, intricacies and dynamics is the basis of my writing for television and film. I have written a novel and had writing courses and workshops in creative writing.

As a screenwriter, I want to touch with both common human and innovative perspectives. The genre is relationship drama and suspense in a balance between sarcasm and warmth, ambiguity and change. Experiences from conflict groups, management and the psychology profession are a constant inspiration for my script writing.

”For several years, I have collaborated with Alexandra text-wise in various ways – both as an editor for her articles and columns on Motivation.se and as a dramaturge during the production of her novel. For me, Alexandra stands for knowledge, will and creativity – collaborating with her is developmental in both directions. All this is manifested in texts that reach the reader, regardless of form or choice of subject. She has nerve. Both as a person and text writer.

Novel

The thriller Brister

Said about the book

The characters felt so genuine and human in their vulnerability. They engaged me and made me want to keep on reading. In Brister there is both tenderness and blackness and the interesting theme of new beginnings.

Åsa Lindgren, screenwriter

Over the course of a few months, old and new perspectives of security and truth are put on edge. The lives of four colleagues intersect and separate, while positions of power shift and take new, unexpected directions. All in a Gothenburg that breathes pulse and hope! A real mix-and-match!

Joakim Forsemalm, docent in ethnology

The characters have nuances, strengths and flaws and are products of their histories with psychological depth. The incessant relating between and within the characters creates the tension in the story. The language is playful and concentrated and the book works well as an audiobook.

Eleonora Eriksson, principal

Captivating and exciting to follow the development of the so beautifully described characters and their meeting with each other. The people and relationships made the strongest impression on me. Interesting about power, success, facades and trust and to find yourself in the beautiful west coast environment.

Inspiration

Life’s winding path has led to a will to create and contribute to meaningfulness. I am a board member of a foundation that works for young people’s mental health and have worked as a child and youth psychologist.

Creativity has a tendency to spill over into both work and relationships and I have always been drawn to things that inspire. Whether it is writing, music, literature, animals, art, yoga, roses or film.
